Well, April’s been a short month, hasn’t it?! We have some really exciting events coming up which I think some of you might just be interested in coming along to. Especially if you’ve been looking at the 1960s, World War Two, or the 1980s as your topic in school. All events are FREE!

Musselburgh 1940s Tea Dance, Saturday 14th May

Fancy dressing up in wartime outfits and learning some dances from the period? The Fly Right Dance Company will be on hand to teach you (and your parents, grandparents or siblings) some fancy dances!We’ll also be serving juice and wartime themed cakes. Swinging 60s Afternoon at Prestongrange Museum, Sunday 15th May
1.30pm-3.30pm, for families
Want to learn the twist, jive or some funky 60s moves?! Plus get your make up done in a 60s style! Come along to the 1960s afternoon at Prestongrange. Beth, our dance tutor, is going to have people rocking around the museum. There will also be a fancy dress competition so come in your best 60s outfit – beehives, fancy suits and lots of colours!
